Those big soulful eyes have perfected a look of profound concern that he deploys at all times — concern that it might rain, concern that it might not, and above all concern that dinner is running approximately ninety seconds late. Ethel's loyal deputy and constant shadow, he takes his patrol duties seriously, provided the route passes the food bowl. What he lacks in athleticism he makes up for in devotion, snoring, and moral support.
