Jacqueline is a silkie in autumn colours — gold, amber and smoke — and never knowingly under-dressed. She keeps herself busy supervising the entire garden: the dust bath rota, the feeder queue, the general conduct of the flock. It all gets the Jacqueline once-over. She's chatty, curious, and will follow you the length of the run narrating her thoughts in a low, confidential burble, on the assumption that you'd want to know.
